Jerry's Deli Hepatitis A Risk

jerry's+deli+westwood.JPGThe Los Angeles Health Department announced Wednesday night that an employee of Jerry’s Deli in Westwood, located at 10925 Weyburn Ave., has been diagnosed with acute hepatitis A.

Health officials stated in an e-mail "the hepatitis A virus is spread by close physical contact and through fecal contamination of food or drink, so Public Health recommends that patrons who ate sandwiches at the restaurant or who ate catered sandwiches from this location on November 18, 21, 23 or 24 should receive an immune globulin (IG) shot or a hepatitis A vaccination no later than 14 days after their exposure to prevent or reduce illness."

I will be trying to find a reasonable clinic to get treatment in, as I am uninsured. I would prefer to find one that charges a nominal fee in lieu of waiting all day long. If anyone knows of one please post the information for it. I will also post information if I find one.

We are a Biotech company who recruits patients who have various conditions to donate plasma. We currently are in URGENT need for patients who have been recently diagnosed as having Hepatitis A. If you were one of the customers that did visit this establishment and have contracted Hepatitis A we would like to speak to you about our program. Donating plasma is very safe and is done in licensed centers there locally. Your plasma will be used to help others be diagnosed as well. For your time and donation you will be paid on the day of your donation $500 and you can do this 2x per week. Please hurry as this program is extremely time sensitive. Call today 800-510-4003
